Preparation

Put the oatmeal in a bowl and mix it with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and the espressos.

Stir with a small spoon until smooth. Is it too wet? Add a little extra

Add some oatmeal. Is it too dry? Add some yogurt. Divide it between two glasses.

Spoon a few tablespoons of yogurt on top for the next layer.

In a separate bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of yogurt with the chocolate pearls (see tip). Set this aside

Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. Stir well until you have a nice chocolate sauce, then pour

over the yogurt layer. Place in the refrigerator and let it set overnight.

Top off your breakfast the next morning with some extra chocolate pearls. That way, you can enjoy

a nutritious breakfast and a delicious treat.

Do you love coffee and chocolate? Then this is a super-quick and delicious breakfast for you. You prepare it the night before, and it's ready the next morning

TIP: CHOCOLATE LAYER RATIO

For the chocolate layer for two servings, I mix about 70 grams of yogurt with

40 grams of chocolate pearls. Heat them briefly in the microwave (20 to 30 seconds) and stir

Stir well; at first it may seem to separate, but just keep stirring. If the mixture separates

Still, that means you let the chocolate get too hot. By the way, this is also delicious as

dessert!

The Smartest Kitchen: Don't Go Overboard

This tastes like a dessert, but it’s very nutritious and quite filling—at least, if you don’t go overboard with the chocolate. I use chocolate with 80% cacao, which means it contains 20% sugar. So even if you don’t add any sugar yourself, there’s still sugar in the chocolate. If you stick to the amounts I specify, that comes out to about 5 grams of sugar per person.
